MUSIC CALENDAR - Hi Everyone - please look at the top right for our music tab. This will bring you to the calendar which will have all our bookings including upcoming months. We have added links, press on the name and the link will take you to the musicians website.
Effective January 1st we will be charging a deposit for all our ticketed shows. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of no-shows to our sold out shows leaving seats others could enjoy! The deposit will be refunded when you come to the show. If you do not give us 24 hours notice that you can not make the show, we will keep your deposit to pay the band. The deposit is NOT THE TICKET COST - it is a deposit to hold your table. Tickets will be added the night of the show.

Jim Findlay is a household name at the chair! He has been with us from the beginning. He is a seasoned classical guitar player bringing years of experience and talented friends to our stage on the second Wednesday of the month. This month (April 10th) he is playing with Jamie Philp.
April 18th Cam Neufeld and the Gadjo Trio are on stage with Lisi Sommer on vocals and Jason Kodie on accordian. This European Jazz style is original and captivating!
April 19th is The Cathy Kowalski Band. Cathy writes songs that tell of her life experiences and the fallout of her choices. This original country/folk band includes lead guitarist Winston Quelch of One Horse Blue, Michael Musson on Pedal Steel and violin, and longtime rhythm section of Ken Jans - percussion and Noel Mackenzie on bass.
Gord & Travis Matthews hit the stage April 20th with their "Dreamer's Son" show. A great evening of 2 generations with different styles of guitar and vocals.
Will Cramer Trio is playing April 25th and Brad Bucknell & the oHNo band are back to rock out the weekend on April 26th!
April 27th has the rich harmonies of Off the Rails . This folk and pop band are one of our most popular and fun bands on stage.
Paint night is back on Tuesday April 30th - $40 includes all supplies and canvas.
Jumping into May with Lionel Rault on Thursday the 2nd
Dave Barber is playing May 3rd this Juno nominee has played with Colin James, Barney Bentall, Chad Brownlee, Aaron Prichett and more! He mixes it up with country, rock, blues, bluegrass, pop & jazz! We look forward to having him on our stage.

Our new menu started February ! We have new shareables and a warm kale salad for our spring menu.
We have a weekly dinner special on Friday and Saturday Nights. Our pies are home made and change weekly with a crust that melts in your mouth!
We have always been and continue to be family friendly. Our children’s menu includes breakfast and combo meals that have been recommended first hand! Please let us know if you have favorites that you would like to see on the menu.
We offer gluten and vegan friendly options, ask your server.
Blue Chair has been one of Canada's premiere live-music venues for over 18 years. When we have shows with covers, we will add the charge to your tab. Please make a reservation as we do fill up quickly.
Parties of 4 or more will be asked for a table deposit of $50 and parties of 10 or more is $100 when attending our shows. This will be deducted from your tab on the evening of the show. This is not part of the cover but a deposit to hold the table.
Cancellation Policy: 24 hours notice prior to the start of the show for a full refund of the deposit.
We have limited seating and request all reservations call for any adjustments to your party. The advanced notice is to help us accomodate your booking and allow us time to sell any extra tickets.
All Friday, & Saturday Night Shows have a cover per person and some Thursday shows. Our brunches are by donation.
Artist Diana Billings born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan into an outdoorsy and artistic family. As a young child Diana’s family moved from the prairies to the Northwest Territories and then to northern Alberta. Living in a small town in the north gave Diana an appreciation for the
outdoors and nature. Diana enjoys camping, cycling, walking in nature and sitting around a campfire. Having been raised in an artistic family full of musicians and artists from family members playing rock and bluegrass to others that are glassblowers and sculptors.
Diana learned to appreciate art and music of many forms. The natural course for Diana was to pursue art in several of her career opportunities, such as kitchen design and finally making her own art. Diana has always loved to paint, draw, collage and write. In 2016 Diana returned to school and obtained from the University of Alberta a certificate in Visual Arts, graduating with distinction in 2020. Diana’s favourite subjects to paint are still life and landscapes, being influenced by favourite artist like Andrew Kiss and the paintings of the 16th century Renaissance.
Diana has recently rediscovered her love of writing and is now writing a weekly blog about her favourite artists and their achievements.
Diana looks forward to something new everyday, striving to find new discoveries in life though drawing, painting and writing.
