Cathy Kowalski writes songs that tell of her life experiences and of dealing with the fallout of choices made. There are story songs, therapy songs and some are bits of wisdom that she hopes will become her reality if she sings them long enough. Her original country/folk music is performed by veteran musicians including Winston Quelch, founder of One Horse Blue, on lead guitar, Michael Musson who toured with Laura Vinson and Red Wing on pedal steel and violin, and the longtime rhythm section of Ken Jans on percussion and Noel Mackenzie on bass.
