Dan Walsh with Karla Anderson
Canadian singer/songwriter multi-instrumentalist Dan Walsh is well known for his collaborations with many musicians. He’s added his bluesy signature style to more than 40 albums and toured across North America, Europe and Australia.
For many years Dan was a key member of Fred Eaglesmith’s band, The Flying Squirrels, where he played more than a couple of hundred gigs a year and shared the stage with the likes of Willie Nelson, Little Feat, and the Del McCoury Band. In 2012, Walsh re-invented himself as a solo looping artist and released his 3rd solo album entitled “Outta The Jam.” (watch!)
In 2005, Karla Anderson hit the world stage when her song “What Else Can I Do?” was given a prime spot on the National Television show “Joan of Arcadia”. It hit the top of the charts wherever it was played, including WUMB Boston, and CKUA Radio in Edmonton. Her sophomore recording “Brand New Day” was released in 2009, to equally rave reviews.
Karla’s live performance exudes a genuinely passionate delivery, and she holds a powerful connection with her audience. The room goes silent as she moves from story to song: watch!
