Mallory Chipman

The NOCTURNALIZE project is the latest brainchild of jazz vocalist and composer, Mallory Chipman. This project mainly features Mallory’s thoughtful original compositions, along with a handful of uniquely interpreted jazz standards and popular songs presented in an innovative modern jazz style, yet tinged with tradition. Mallory Chipman received her Bachelor of Jazz and Contemporary Music from MacEwan University in 2015 for which she was awarded the Dean’s Medal of Academic Achievement, and she has studied privately with internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Cyrille Aimee and Juno Award winner Sienna Dahlen. She is currently preparing for the release of her debut album, NOCTURNALIZE, which is set for release in autumn of 2016, thanks to generous support from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
