Prairie Cats play Willie

Willie is 84 this year. He wrote his first song at age 7, and started his first band at 10. In the '50s he wrote his iconic Funny how time slips awayHello Walls, Pretty Paper and Crazy, and since then he has continued with songwriting, singing, writing and being an outlaw of Country Music.

The Prairie Cats have graced our stage many times, they are a collection of great musicians, their talents honed over the years, and even if they aren't nearly as old as Willie, they aren't young anymore. But they know and love Willie's tunes, and this tribute will prove it.

The Cats are:

Peter Pirquet, guitars and vocals
Jim Hepler, bass and vocals
Lloyd Litke, guitar & vocals
Bruce Ball, drums
