Blue Chair is a gem! Local musicians Chloe Albert and Kyle Mosiuk put on a performance that was much appreciated by a full house crowd. Kudos to the crowd for being respectful and there was little talking over the players. Award winning Alley Cat beer was available. A menu with options for all kinds of diners offering tasty in house specialties. Cozy decor, who could ask for more. Thanks to Harold for such a great table!

Great!! Best Eggs Benedict combinations. How often do you see that the Spinach stems have been cut off? Amazing! Presentation, service & atmosphere, 5 star. Live music later, call first.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Blue Chair last summer. From the start of planning the party to the night of, Harold and his staff were wonderful and made things very easy for us. Harold was enthusiastic about creating a specialized tapas menu for us and our guests still rave to us about how delicious (and abundant) the food was. He also helped us find great live music that was a blast to dance to. We are so happy we chose the Blue Chair as our venue. It was everything we hoped for and more. I wish we could do it again!

Wiz Wensel

(She/Her)

Wiz Wensel is an Edmonton-based, contemporary, visual artist working in mixed media. As a young artist, Wiz drew wonderful inspiration from the Formalist, Color field and Abstract expressionist movements that were predominant in the art scene at the time. This early influence, meshed with her passion for textiles, modern design and exotic travel, is the impetus behind much of her creativity. Wiz’s choice of a non-representational format provides the freedom to explore and experiment as she desires.

Her courageous, uninhibited use of bold, joyful color intertwined with a playful, often energetic handling of materials is a direct expression of her soul’s essence and vitality.
